The season 6 of the series ‘Homicide: Life on the Street‘ premiered on November 17, 1997. The season was on air till May 8, 1998. This season of the series had twenty three episodes in it. A new character named Detective Laura Ballard was added to the series. This character was played by Callie Thorne. By the end of this season, two characters Detectives Frank Pembleton and Mike Kellerman ended their journey on the show. These characters were played by Andre Braugher and Reed Diamond respectively. The actors who made recurring guest appearances during this season were Detectives Paul Falsone played by Jon Seda) and Stu Gharty, who was later on made a regular in the season.
